MY STORY

The man in front…

I was given the name Pivot by my friends where I was raised in Laguna. Everyone has a nickname and typically its given to you. I got this name because of my fiery spirit, my Rebellious side, the way I turn on the waves when skim boarding, surfing, and my True anti-ART approach to life.

My childhood was dark and that’s when I became a creator. Institutionalized at age six, and locked up until I was 15, From group homes to being traded within my family like a rookie player that no team wanted. I had family abandonment issues, an inability to learn in school, and a fire within me that could only be extinguished with near death substance addictions. Locked in rubber rooms, strapped to suicide beds, forced medications and abandoned by my family and the whole world.

I became a punk rocker and it was the perfect storm for what would be the trial period for the end of me> or the beginning. I was an alcoholic and drug addict trying to escape the tyranny of my government inflictions by creating my own. TRYING TO CREATE PIVOT!

…and Behind the Brand from Darkness to Light

I battled my life threatening drug addiction and alcoholism. I then realized the one thing I wanted, was there the whole time and I had been doing it for decades. I have used my alter ego to cover up my most important relationship that had been with me since I was a child. My spiritual awakening was my art. Through these life experiences my alter ego was Pivot. Pivot had battled the good and the bad. This life story is who I am and what my art is about. I AM NOW SOBER OVER 2 decades. I HAVE ALSO BECOME A CHRISTIAN IN 2023. THIS WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. JESUS HAD BECOME THE KING OF MY KINDOM AND MY LIFE AND ART HAD TRANSFORMED ONCE AGAIN. MY LIFE IS ABSOLUTELY CHRISTIAN BASED AND MY LIFE IS BASED OFF OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND JESUS CHRIST. I AM HERE TO TELL THE WORLD OF THE ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING!
